The Executive Edge in Sport program is designed as a premium, cohort-based experience and consists of:
- Sports Leadership Essentials - a 7-week online course, and
- Sports Leadership Lab - A 4-day in-person summit in Toronto (optional)
All program fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the online course. Access to the course or summit will only be granted once payment has been received.
Participants may enrol in:
- Sports Leadership Essentials, or
- Sports Leadership Essentials + Sports Leadership Lab (bundle)
Participants may also upgrade from the online course to include the summit (see Section 8).
We aim to be fair and transparent while maintaining the quality and structure of a cohort-based program.
- The online course is generally non-refundable once access has been provided, except during the cooling-off period outlined below
- Refunds relating to the Executive Summit are limited and set out in Section 10
We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for:
- Changes in personal or professional circumstances
- Scheduling conflicts
- Non-attendance
- Personal preference or dissatisfaction with the program
You may request a full
refund within 14 days of payment, provided:
- The course has not started, and
- No course materials or platform access
has been used
Once access has been used
or the course has commenced, the cooling-off period no longer applies.
The Executive Edge in Sport Program is delivered as a structured cohort experience.
- Participants are expected to begin the Program
on the published start date
- Participants may not commence the Program
more than 7 days after the official start date
If a participant begins
after the start date:
- They do so at their own discretion
- GIS is not responsible if the
participant is unable to catch up, complete the course, or meet required
deadlines
To ensure a high-quality
experience for all participants, attendance at the Executive Summit is
conditional upon successful completion of the online course.
GIS
retains sole discretion in determining successful completion.
- The course certificate will not be granted.

The participant will not be eligible to attend the Executive Summit

Where a participant has purchased the bundled Program, GIS will refund the amount paid for the Executive Summit (the Summit supplement)
Participants who enrol in
the online course may upgrade to include the Executive Summit within 12 months of completing the
course, at the applicable bundled Program fee.
Participants may enrol in
the Executive Summit up to and including the Summit start date, subject
to availability.
9.1 Late Enrolment- The full applicable fee will apply
- No discounts or partial refunds are
available for late enrolment
9.2 Partial AttendanceIf a participant joins
after the Summit has started or is unable to attend all sessions:
- They are welcome to attend the remaining
sessions

However, GIS is unable to offer any
reduction in fees or compensation for missed portions
We strongly recommend
attending the full Summit to gain the maximum value from the experience.
If you are unable to attend
a booked Executive Summit, the following applies:
- More than 30 days before the Summit:
100% refund of the amount paid for the Executive Summit
- 15–30 days before the Summit:
50% refund of the amount paid for the Executive Summit

- Less than 15 days before the Summit:
25% refund of the amount paid for the Executive Summit
- Failure to attend without notice:
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund
For the purposes of this
section, where the Summit is purchased as part of
a bundled Program, the “amount paid for the Executive Summit” refers to
the Summit supplement.
Additional
Notes
- All refunds will be processed in GBP
(£)
- Any bank or currency conversion fees are
the responsibility of the participant
- At GIS discretion, a credit towards a
future Summit may be offered instead of a refund

Course places cannot be transferred once
the course has started

Requests before the start date may be
considered on a case-by-case basis

Deferrals are not guaranteed
GIS is not responsible for:
- Visa outcomes

Travel disruptions

Personal inability to attend
These situations do not
qualify for refunds.
GIS may reschedule Program
components due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited
to government restrictions, venue issues, or global events.
To ensure a positive
experience for all participants, GIS reserves the right to remove individuals
for inappropriate behaviour.
In such cases, no refunds
or certificates will be issued.
Partial attendance or late
arrival does not qualify for refunds or certification.
GIS may make reasonable
adjustments to Program content, speakers, or delivery format to ensure the
highest quality experience.
If a Program is cancelled
by GIS, a full refund or transfer will be offered.

For clarity:
- The “Summit supplement” refers to
the additional fee paid for the Executive Summit when purchased as part of
a bundled Program
GIS reserves the right to
determine applicable pricing at the time of enrolment.
